Understanding Analytics
Understanding Analytics in Promo Party Pro
Promo Party Pro gives you real-time data on how your free gift campaigns are performing. This article walks through the analytics available on the main dashboard and inside each individual campaign.
The Main Dashboard
When you open Promo Party Pro, the top of the page shows a performance summary across all active campaigns.

You will see three key metrics at the top.
Gift adds is the total number of times a free gift was added to a customer’s cart across all campaigns. You can hover over the dotted underline beneath “Gift adds” to see this definition inside the app.

Add-to-cart rate shows the percentage of sessions where the campaign was triggered, and the customer added the free gift to their cart.
Avg. cart value shows the average cart value for carts that included a free gift.
Below the summary stats, the Active Campaigns table lists each campaign currently running. This includes the campaign title, start date, end date, cart threshold, and the free gift product attached to the campaign.
To view more detailed analytics for one campaign, click the campaign title.
Campaign-Level Analytics
Clicking into a specific campaign brings up a detailed analytics view for that campaign only.

At the top of the page, you will see the same three metrics shown on the main dashboard. On this page, Gift adds, Add-to-cart rate, and Avg. cart value are filtered to the campaign you are viewing.
Below the summary stats, the Gift mix by variant table shows which product variants customers chose as their free gift. For each variant, you can see the number of times it was selected and its share of total gift selections for that campaign.
This is helpful if your free gift has multiple variants, such as different colors, sizes, flavors, or styles. It can help you understand which variants customers are choosing most often, so you can make better decisions about inventory, future gift offers, and campaign setup.
By default, the Gift mix by variant table reflects the last 30 days of data. If you need access to a longer history, contact support to discuss upgrade options.
Navigating Between Views
From the campaign-level analytics page, you can use the buttons in the upper right corner to return to the main dashboard or go back to the full campaigns list.
Tips for Reading Your Analytics
If Gift adds shows zero or a very low number, check that your campaign trigger threshold is set correctly. You should also make sure the free gift product is active, available, and in stock in your Shopify store.
If the Add-to-cart rate is lower than expected, customers may see the offer but not choose the gift. This may indicate that the gift product, threshold amount, or campaign messaging needs to be adjusted.
If Avg. cart value is strong, your free gift campaign may be helping customers build higher-value carts. This is especially useful when your campaign is tied to a cart threshold, such as “Spend $100 and get a free gift.”
If one gift variant is selected much more often than the others, you may want to feature it more prominently, restock it sooner, or use that insight when planning your next gift campaign.
What to Use This Data For
Your analytics can help you understand whether your gift offer is getting attention, whether customers are choosing the gift, and which gift variants are most appealing. Over time, this can help you test different thresholds, compare gift products, and build campaigns that are better aligned with how customers actually shop.
